Once again Ben has written another fantastic gay spicy fantasy。 I absolutely loved Faenir and his story line。 The character development was done well。 You found yourself imagining what it would be like in their shoes and dealing with the traumas they have seen。 The crossovers from the first book are done spectacularly and feel seemless。 I will never look at pomegranates the same。

O binged this book in 5 1/2 hours because I could NOT put it down！！！ The tie in with Lord of Eternal Night， marking it as a legend， was genius！ Absolut phenomenal worldbuilding， great characters and the story between Arlo and Faenir is just SO GOOD！！！ I love the plottwists， the betrayal， the drama！！！ I cried at least 5 times， but it is SO WORTH IT！The fact that Ben did not shy away from heartbreak， death， and destruction gave this book its depth。 10/10 - cannot recommend enough！！

THANK YOU SO MUCH BEN FOR THE ARC I’ve been dying to read this omg The main aspect I really love about this book and which i really grew to already appreciate in book one is how easy these books are on you as a reader。 Even though Ben creates a new world with new rules and lore as per usual in fantasy books， the world building and also the driving plot points aren’t too complicated or twisted。 And I mean this in the most positive way。 Ben writes stories that us gays have been missing while the s THANK YOU SO MUCH BEN FOR THE ARC I’ve been dying to read this omg The main aspect I really love about this book and which i really grew to already appreciate in book one is how easy these books are on you as a reader。 Even though Ben creates a new world with new rules and lore as per usual in fantasy books， the world building and also the driving plot points aren’t too complicated or twisted。 And I mean this in the most positive way。 Ben writes stories that us gays have been missing while the straights have gotten the same retelling like thirty times and i really appreciate that Are these stories the most original？ Well no， they have been told before but not from a queer perspective and this is exactly the type of energy that we need So， while I do not think this is the most original storyline or the most poetic book ever written （however， Ben does always include new twists that have me in his DMs yelling and yodeling） ， I can confidently rate this five stars based on the enjoyment I felt while reading this book， it just kinda feels like a warm read that makes you feel good for a couple hours Another aspect I want to mention is the grip Ben‘s characters have on me， I would die for them。 Such loveable and flawed characters and I shall never stop simping for love interests with a tragic past and long hair， literally weak in the knees for them Plus I really recommend reading Ben‘s other works because seeing the progress made from book to book is so insane， so much fun seeing each book get better and better 。。。more
